Issue 31091  —   dlminfo.sh version 9.0.2 does not produce HostID and UniqueID on RedHat 7 VMware

Status:   Solved in 10.2.01

Solution available in patch(es):      MX07    MG01

Description:

 Summary:
dlminfo.sh version 9.0.2 does not produce HostID and UniqueID on RedHat 7 VMware

 Environment:
  +DLM: Version 9.0.2
  +Operating System: Linux RedHat 7
  +Database: DBMS independent

 Symptoms:
dlminfo.sh (dlm version 9.0.2.220) installed on RedHat 7.0 on VMware
 only produces Hostname and IPAddress as SystemInformation;
HostID, DiskSerial, SoftkeyID and UniqueID are <not defined>.

Note that DLM 9.0.1 (delivered up to and including
Uniface 9.6.07) does not support this platform.
(dlminfo.sh 9.0.1 gives only HOST ID: unknown)

RedHat 6.6 and dlm9.0.2.220 on vmware gives the values of <HostID> and
 <UniqueID> correctly.

Workaround:

There is no workaround for this problem

Notes:

This problem is solved in DLM version 9.0.3.
