Issue 31185 — Display issue for Command Buttons using representation Uniface transparency
Status: Solved in 10.2.01
Solution available in patch(es): G104
Description:
Summary: A command button uses transparency and representation 'Uniface'. When the button moves (occurrence scrolling) the display becomes corrupt. After moving the mouse over the affected display the display becomes correct again. Environment: + Uniface: Uniface 9.7 + Operating System: OS independent + Database: DBMS independent Symptoms: A command button uses transparency and representation 'Uniface' When scrolling through occurrences with buttons using transparency the display gets corrupted when these buttons move over the screen. After moving the mouse over the affected display the display becomes correct again.
Workaround:
There is no known workaround.
Notes:
This problem is solved. It is advised not to use transparent command buttons in a multi occurrence form due to the way transparency is implemented in the Uniface product. Transparent buttons are redrawn by the Uniface GUI whenever they are replaced/moved in a form. This can lead to a flickering behavior when their position is moved by scrolling in a multi occurrence form.
