Every modern Windows application displays an icon next to the drop down menu bars, and right click menu panels, however Uniface cannot.
- The developer should be able to specify the glyph name when defining a menu bar pull down item, or a right-click popup menu item. - The glyph should either be defined in the same library/language as the menu or in the default USYS library / same language as is the practice for glyphs used elsewhere in Uniface.
- To make Uniface applications look more modern and more Windows standard. - In Windows Vista and Windows 7 a gap even appears at the left of the menu bar where the images should be! - Icons can also help users identify the correct item more quickly.
