When logging/profiling to determine speed problems, it would appear that the calls to services on the server are not logged from the client. Since these are frequently the causes of the delay, and there may be more than one within one piece of local proc, that makes the proc logging difficult to process. Also, having an actual date/time the procedure was started would allow the developer to marry up the client proclog and the server proclog.

Use Case

To try and determine what procedures are slowing the system in a client server setup, it is imperative that the calls from client to server be logged and timed.
