The IDF, in its current state, is a nightmare to work with. It seems the plethora of bugs and lack of standard modern features (code hints/intellisense anybody?) in uniface\'s own development environment is the result of its developers using uniface to create it.. ? Therefore I propose the IDF be re-written in something other than uniface, so that at least a bearable and productive experience can be had by developers using it.

Use Case

The usability should be on par with other popular IDE\'s. Eg. Eclipse, Visual Studio, DreamWeaver

It\'s counterproductive to use an IDE that slows down developers when they use a language that\'s meant to speed up development. A better IDE will increase productivity and quality of code for all developers.
