The Uniface 9.4 beta program will give Uniface developers the first hands-on experience on building Rich Internet Applications (RIA) with Uniface. RIAs give end ?users the feeling of running a ?desktop? application in a browser. RIAs are typically more interactive, faster and more flexible then ?traditional? web applications.

Uniface 9.4 introduces a new component type called Dynamic Server Page. The DSP allows developers to build RIAs using their existing Uniface knowledge and without the need to learn JavaScript.

In the first beta phase a RIA sample and tutorial will be delivered with the product. This phase is intended to get first hands-on experience for developers. It is advised to run the tutorial and practice with the functionality explained in the tutorial.
